Celebrate Fête de la Musique at Bellanger

Taking place on the eve of the Summer Solstice each year, Fête de la Musique is entering its 40th year in 2022. We’ll be putting on our very own celebration on Tuesday 21st June here at Bellanger. Read on to find out more and book your table.

On Tuesday 21st June, we’ll be bringing a little Parisian charm to Islington Green with our first Fête de la Musique celebration at Bellanger.

Symbolically held on the Summer Solstice – the longest day of the year – the first event took place back in 1982. An annual celebration of the musical culture and heritage of France, the day typically sees communities gather together to enjoy an evening filled with music and dancing.

The music…

To mark the occasion we’ll be putting on our very own soirée where you can enjoy the sounds of Dom Durner’s jazz corner throughout the evening. Originally from Canada, Dom grew up in northern France where he fell in love with French café culture and all things jazz. Settling in London in 2011, Dom has played at many of the city’s leading jazz clubs, including Toulouse Lautrec and Hampstead Jazz Club.

The band will play from 6.30pm, with a second performance later on in the evening too.

The food…

Our full a la carte menu, featuring a host of new seasonally inspired dishes, will be available as usual for you to order from at your tables, alongside our weekly specials.

Book your table

We recommend booking in advance for our Fête de la Musique evening at Bellanger – some tables may be available as walk-ins on the night, but we cannot guarantee this.
